Evangelia University (EU) is a private institution approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE; www.bppe.ca.gov) under the California Post-Secondary Education Act of 2009. Approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the CEC and 5, CCR. The School Code of Evangelia University is 1922781. EU’s programs approved by BPPE are as follows: Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.), Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E), Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies (M.A.I.C.S.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), Doctor of Education in Christian Ministry(Ed.D.), Doctor of Intercultural Studies (D.I.C.S.) and Distance Education of each program (DE).
Evangelia University is accredited by the commission on the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS; 15935 Forest Rd., Forest, Virginia 24551; 434.525.9539) for the following programs: Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.), Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E.), Master of Intercultural Studies (M.A.I.C.S.), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), Doctor of Intercultural Studies (D.I.C.S.) and Distance Education of each program (DE). TRACS is recognized by both the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department of Education.
Evangelia University Graduate School of Theology is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of The Association of Theological Schools (www.ats.edu) and is approved to offer the following degrees: Master of Arts in Religion (M.A.R.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E.), Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.), and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.). The school is also approved to offer comprehensive distance education (half or more of a degree).
